From Jen Thomas, Ad Council Leader . . .

Was so great to welcome our church family back into the building this morning! A huge shoutout to members of the Ad Council for working through the logistics of creating a safe option for in person worship.  And another huge shoutout to our ushers Bill and Connie Almy and Bruce and Linda Croel and our greeters Mary Bresnahan and Brandon Martin.  The process was smooth and seamless because of you all!  What a blessing to be able to offer both in person and online services...thanks be to God!  Looking forward to see you in person or online next Sunday!
Changes due to COVID 19

In an effort to keep everyone safe, there are some changes that we must implement. for our indoor services.  These changes are outlined by Jen Thomas,  Ad Council Leader as follows:

  • For now there will be just one service in the building.  We will be asking that you RSVP via Sign Up Genius (you will receive a separate email with that link) so we can be certain we have enough space to socially distance our seating appropriately.  If need be, we will add a second in-person service.
  • We will be using the parking lot doors to enter and exit the building.
  • We MUST wear a mask upon entering and for the entire duration that we are in the building.
  • Attached is a health screening form.  We will ask that you take your temp and fill out the form before you come in the church building.  If you are unable to or if you forget your form, there will be blank copies and a thermometer at the church.
  • Social distancing is a must.  Believe me, I know how hard it is to not shake hands or hug your friends, but we just can’t right now.
  • An usher will seat you once you have entered the building.  There will be signs and people directing traffic. We will be seating people from front to back every other pew. (Yes, this means we may not sit where we normally do.)
  • There will be no coffee in the welcome center and nothing in the pews.  Plan to bring your own beverage, your own Bible, your own tissues, and anything else you might need during service.  There will be no bulletins.  Everything will be up on the screen.
  • Sadly, there will be no singing for now.  Research has proven that particles travel farther with singing.
  • There will be a bin to put your offering in upon entering the sanctuary.  On Communion Sundays, prepackaged elements will be laid out for you to pick up on your way into the sanctuary.
  • The bathrooms WILL be open.
  • After service, stay seated until the usher dismisses your row.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot congregate in or around the building after service to visit with our church family and friends.

Please be patient with the process.  We are continually reevaluating and making changes to ensure you have the best and safest experience possible.  We will continue to monitor the number of Covid cases in our community and will act on the recommendations of the Health Department and our local and state leaders as they arise.  Please be in prayer for Pastor Tish and our church leadership as we navigate through these challenging times.

Peace and Blessings,
Jen Thomas
Ad Council Chair
